Health & Wellness Coach and Yoga Teacher Katrina Brunsden joined Nick on the show to talk about Holistic Health & Fitness and the importance of natural wellness, eating natural foods and exercise. She shared her experiences of having to loose weight after undiagnosed health problems resulted in her being laid up in bed, and her decision to not take medical drugs and live a more healthy life and to now run workshops helping other people to be more healthy naturally too. Nick mentioned how his well-being was improved by becoming Vegan (not eating any animal products) which was actually for compassionate reasons but that health benefits also followed, and talked about the eastern concept of 'Prana' and the life-force of living foods (such as organic or home-grown vegetables etc). Katrina reiterated the connection between food, energy and love and how healthy foods can create light in our bodies, and the importance of natural foods, water and sunshine which are vital to help our bodies run as they should.
Health & Fitness Coach Karen Laryea then joined them on the sofa to share her own experiences with her holistic approach to weight loss, and her mission to empower people to live a healthy life through self-esteem, and to break patterns of negative food habits and other addictive behavior through NLP techniques, meditation and letting people know that we have a CHOICE as to whether to live a healthy life or not, and that maintaining our well-being can be fun!
